Just trying out different styles. Specifically, the one that seems common in modern comics - where you quickly sketch something without paying much attention to the mistakes, color it and paste a few textures in an attempt to make it look better. I'm not sure what to think about the final results, but this was fun as hell to draw (although that may be because I like these characters).

Edit: So, apparently it's a mark of Ben Templesmith's style. I thought it was a new trend or something, but nope, just one guy.
