Turkey Bulgolgi Lettuce Wraps and Roasted Green Beans
Okay firstly, not the most flattering photo, I know, I just didn't want to crack out the nice plates for this since I was serving it up to multiple people, and the counter and stove are a bit dirty.
Anyway, I wanted to treat my mom to an alternative Thanksgiving meal where the same elements are used for different dishes. So here we have the first meal, lunch, which is ground turkey bulgolgi using this recipe: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes.....beef-and-rice/ and ginger rice, which is where you just cook ginger in some oil first before adding water and rice and cook the rice as normal. Then the green beans were bought fresh, tossed in olive oil, pepper, and garlic powder, and roasted at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. The rice and turkey is meant to be scooped in to lettuce boat leaves.
Thoughts: The bulgolgi and ginger rice with lettuce wraps was a delicious idea that is also cheap and I will do it again for sure. I cooked just enough so there was only a bit of meat left over, and it was a big hit with the others.
