But then again, you've already done quite a number on Liane. That's pretty rough! Killed, brought back to life and then run over all in the first installment! Good thing she's a tough bunny ;3 I have a feeling you may not be through with her yet either.....
Anyway, this is really fun. I love how you made Allie such a klutz at telling Liane her feelings, and worked in our necklaces!
It's a great story overall, reminiscient of Groundhog Day in a way. I'm already plenty pissed at whoever has that other other time watch and is selling us out!! I'm ready for part 2! :)

Originally you were going to die TWICE in part one, but I decided that was too much like the first part and since the emotional impact of your death (to Alonira) was gone since she knew she could save you, killing you twice was illogical. What's going to get interesting in part 2 and 3 is remembering who was where when and knows what. :) It's not too complicated, but it is important to remember that. :)
Yeah, that part seemed to work so well, rather than starting you guys together. This was originally intended to be a male/female falling in love story, and I had thought about at the end because of all the work he had to do to save her they ended up not together (sort of like star crossed lovers), but when the decision was made to change the roles to same sex (because I feel they were underserved in good furry writing without throwing in sex) I decided to keep the falling in love angle. The necklaces is just part of what I do. :) This is why I need good art of characters, so I can pull what I need to, if it fits in the story without feeling designed for it or extraneous, I use what tools I have. ;)
*evil grin* Oh, if you're pissed now, just wait until the cliffhanger for part 2. MUAHAHA!!!!

Yes, I thought for a while you WERE going to kill her twice. I was kind of 'huh!' when you just had her run over, but then I understood....or figured a good reason for it anyway.
I'm so glad both of our art had the necklaces in them! It fits the story so well, and is very pleasing to both of us personally at the same time. You certainly do make good use of the materials you're given!

As I was writing it it seemed unnecessary for her to die again (as was originally plotted) though luckily thanks to rewinding time she gets to skip a painful healing process, though she also doesn't get the get well cards we would've bought. ;)

Right this minute if you asked for a vote on which you would work on, I'd say Clockwork. Of course my blood pressure is still up from reading it and re-reading some favorite parts. (You can probably guess which they are. :p ) But I'll be happy to see Odyssey too if that's the one you choose.

Well, as it stands now I might do Odyssey 2 one week and Clockwork 2 the next, though then I would need to return to my own projects for a while before the third of either would get done, so for right now I'll say maybe a new story for the next two weeks. You have a cameo at the end of part 2 for Odyssey. :)

uhg(no offense meant by said ugh), i already read on time and clockwork themed story, i dont have enough spave time to read another one in a slice... hehe, Pratchet rules, Thief of Time will make you say time-based puns after reading it... i mean it took up a good bit of my time, yet the hours flew as i was reading it

Yeah, as I told Liane above, that part was from the art of you guys, I remembered you had them and it seemed like perfect timing in cycle two to differentiate it from the first go around, not to mention that in cycle three Liane will comment how she bought one JUST LIKE THAT, and might suspect you of sneaking in her stuff. ;) (Remember, hers will reset, since you're wearing yours, yours won't). :) I'm glad you like that, because I do try and tailor my stories to my actors, if the plot will allow it. :)

Well, you really hit the nail on the head, what with those necklaces actually being gifts to each other! And our reactions to each other's gifts were exactly as you depicted: Me being worried mine was too cliche, she dismissing hers as a trinket... It was perfect! =^.^=
