You know. It makes sense for his first transformation to be a painful one. It's like working out a muscle that hasn't been worked out before.... except it's all of the muscles in your body. That has to be a lot of pain to go through... not to mention that pain would fuel anger and rage. Now as he gets more transformations under his belt, his body would start getting used to it and would be less painful.... and hopefully become pleasurable through more experience.
I am reminded of the transformation scene in the movie "The Howling" where Eddie Quist transforms into his Werewolf form in front of the news reporter he was stalking. He actually looks like he was enjoying his transformation a LOT. I am sure he had quite a number of transformations under his belt to get to the point of pleasure.
Just a rambling thought. =)

Ramble away. That's part of the fun of werewolves that I greatly enjoy. Everyone has their own takes, preferences, theories, rules, etc. Hell, I could have a werewolf who never feels pleasure from the tf and an alpha or a born werewolf that could see the transformation as a release of pressure and immensely pleasurable existing in the same universe. And no one can say "well that doesn't make sense" because it all makes perfect sense lol.
Not a good time for a call to go to voicemail!
Also the polar opposites that are happening right now, with Jeremy having a good time in someone’s place, while Curtis is going through hell at home! (I guess you could say one of them are gladly taking off their clothes, with no pressure whatsoever ~wink wink~)
Poor Chris, even in pain and desperation he remembers to be polite to whoever’s number he just called, and the rush to give the message and warning to Jeremy while realizing that the pain is about to return, and it’s not going to be pretty.
Good job!

Also just a funny thought i had. Remember in the AWIL transformation scene, there was that Mickey doll that saw everything? Given the fact that Curtis was playing Mario 64, i’m just imagining Mario at the start screen with only his big head on the screen seeing everything aswell 😅
My thought process on this one is that Curtis is calling the home of Jeremy's female friend. So while he says the message is for Jeremy, obviously she is listening too because it's her place. He doesn't want to be disrespectful to her especially since he's basically asking her a favor to house Jeremy for the night. He knows they're both gonna be listening.
Gotcha! I read the text as if he was calling Jeremy and got his voicemail. Makes sense now that it was to Jeremy's friend's house... though idk why he wouldn't call Jeremy directly, hence my confusion.
Also, you are not dumb! Those of us who post ANYTHING with literary content will generally have a typo or two. Hell... I've found typos in my favorite author's published novels in the past. So no going and beating yourself up IF & WHEN one or several are posted.
