so fun fact: Mildred is the mother of a character of mine named Edith. Mildred ended up having a daughter named Edith who looks exactly like her when she was young, and this daughter goes on to marry Gretchen's nephew Roosevelt. So while this looks exactly like Edith, it is Mildred, as Mildred and Gretchen are eventual besties and know each other well.
