Another commission - a big one this time. I'm really happy with having done this, even though I can see where I'd change things next time.
Off in the distance, the space elevator zips material and manpower up past the atmosphere, but those who can't afford this, won't afford this, or have equipment too large to carry on the elevator, send stuff up into space the old fashioned way, by using big cargo carriers launched from what used to be a warehouse district.
