Earlier this year I commissioned the eminently talented  matchapeaches to make something as a birthday gift for  raidagu. It was a milestone birthday, and coincidentally the year of our 10th anniversary - so I wanted to try and get something a bit special.
Hence, there is no story attached to this piece I'm afraid, for I don't think I could write a story that would genuinely capture what I'd want it to capture.

This picture branches across multiple incarnations, worlds, themes, and stories that we've spoken of or woven together, and includes more than I could do justice to with a snippet. While I could detail them all, I think it's kind of nicer to let them speak for themselves and what they might mean, haha.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words - but this one is worth a decade.
