The Riolu and Corvisquire line. It's a duo that I feel clicked well.
Despite that they're having a moment. Conflict of interest. Corvisquire's got this weird twitch when it comes to exploring mystery dungeons and would rather not deal with them. Riolu on the other hand has been trying hard to convince him, but it seems he would have to dig a little deeper.

With that very brief introduction, Corvisquire acknowledges it's larger than others of the same species. He uses that to be someone to idol or to depend on. Be the light you look for. To help steer others from danger and the like.

And, at least in this situation, it's nothing that helps Riolu. While there is plenty of help to be given out on the surface, people need help more in dungeons. Riolu is determined to show him his interference might be slowing him down. It might be more or less unspoken, but Corvisquire may have attached to Riolu somehow.
