Honestly, this year's been a crazy one. Started up so many fun personal projects, at a time I'd just accepted this pandemic likely would never end. And just after starting up several new and exciting things, scheduling myself around having all the time in the world on my hands? Boom, vaccine comes out! And then double boom, I suddenly have a normie retail job again! Words cannot SAY how straining it's been on my mental health to slowly adapt back into society around real people. But hey, from freak accident injuries, to social panic attacks; anything that isn't isolation or depression has felt like a blessing to me. Not to mention, this past week has been my first time working the "holiday toy shopping rush", and I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO TIRED IN MY LIFE BLEH WHAT THE HECK. Even still, I'm beyond happy that this sense of "feeling tired" is a different feeling than the same day repeating for a year of lockdown.

After this long week of screaming children and clueless karens, I really haven't been feeling any of that "holiday spirit" anymore. No joy when seeing pretty lights, no fun listening to holiday music, no excitement for gift wrapping, not even cozy fireplace vibes with some hot cocoa. But after hearing Thorin_Pheonix wouldn't be spending the holiday with us? This feeling came over me that my gift of a cheap christmas ornament just wasn't special enough. So I had the idea to draw Graham looking all cute in a gift box. "Merry christmas, here's your cute angel dragon in a box!" - yeah, that would do it. But after seeing just how INSANELY CUTE it turned out? I really felt no other choice than to draw everyone else for a big holiday portrait. Myself, my recently named alt sona, my best friend's 2 fursonas. the Graham trio, and the cute fox of a friend who reconnected with me online the other day. And, not to forget, some respect shown to an old friend. I really hope I got her fursona correct, as I only ever heard a description and forgot where I wrote it down. (we still miss you Lucy, and I hope you are in a better place. 💔🌷)
