Familiar Adversary is a queercore band that was active in the city of Baweska from the mid-1980s to 1994. Their songs criticize the local Evangelical Lutheran Church and promote the Satanist values of independence and hedonism.
Here we see the band in 1993, near the end of their career. From left to right:
Cillian - Bassist, age 25, newest member of the band. Joined in 1992 and became bassist after Ellis left to rejoin the Church.
Rory - Guitarist and singer, age 27, founder of the band. Hopes that the band will eventually blossom into a large Satanist community.
Lucca - Drummer, age 25, transvestite. Memorized the entire Bible by age 16.
