Felt like doing another song drawing, this time the ending theme to Chrono Cross. If I was much more skilled at doing art I'd be able to try more of what I wanted to go for, which was an attempt at a sort of split status. To try and make everything look happy/slightly positive until you got to the eyes, which made everything look rather sad. Instead went and after everything was said and done, just massively desaturated the whole image.


Wasn't too pleased with how the linework came out. I really need to try and get faster at that. This already took 2.5 hours to sketch, a full hour on just the head, and I'm not entirely thrilled at that, either. And especially don't like the hands. But this is what I felt like drawing while listening to the song. Overall this only took me 4.5 hours, though I think the only reason the coloring took so little time comparatively speaking is that I went with a very simple effect on the fur. If I went for even a single-pass format, that would have likely pushed it at least to 7 hours. But wasn't feeling it.
