Uraraka got to her feet. She never figured walking, or even standing, would ever feel so foreign to her. As she got used to her new legs, she glanced at her arms. Her feathers were spreading, making a mover her her hands. She didn't want to find out what would happen when they reached them. In a futile attempt to stop the feathers, she reached out and grabbed a handful, pulling them from her arm. Uraraka underestimated how much doing that would hurt. It felt like 100 needles were being pulled from her skin. But the feathers she so painfully removed were soon replaced by more.
