After months of pestering, I finally got the San Diego Health Association to change my title from EMT to TMA...no longer am I an emergency medical technician, I am now teh tactical medical artist. First class.

Wow congratulations there. Sounds like a likely pay increase as well, always good that. Would the business cards be a mandatory liability thing, or just something spiffy to advertise your practice? X3

The First Class makes it so much more official. I think if I was handed one of those cards, I would ask, "What's the umbrella for?"

YAY ^.^... After i... err... well, i obliterated my moms truck..and an electric pole..and i dont remember much from about the point where the i felt it start to roll, to the point i realized i was laying on the roof, in the back seat, with sand* permeating my every orifice...but by the time the medics showed up i had my head screwed back on fairly well..They were still pretty insistent that i let them take me to the hospital... Ive just kinda wondered over the last couple weeks if that is just part of their SOP to encourage a ride, just in case, or if they really thought i was in danger.. I know. I find the stupidest stuff to fixate on. Anyway, was just curious.

*The sand..the sand its been a month and im still washing it out of my ears >.< This is also why i am an advocate for 4 point restraint systems. I was wearing my seatbelt, i know i was. huff.
