Just like everything else, I do not know how far I will get with this. I currently have only 4 pages with 1 of them I have to completely redo. The readability was horrible and I did not like the other dragon design. ;P
I started it on Friday at the convention (Rainfurrest) and started to ink it last night/today (last day of the convention).
I have been practicing with traditional media again. I was pissed off when I have not done it in so long that it was like learning all over again. I won't be making that mistake again, lol.
Just a sneak peek at something I am working on. If I finish a chunk of it, I will find a scanner that I can use and post it (I currently do not have a scanner, so deal with the photo, lol).
Many things to talk about! xD Enjoy!

This looks like an awesome comic! :D I'm looking forward to reading it. :3 May I ask what media you used for this? Or uh...rather...what kind of pen or whatnot you used for the black line-art there? It really almost looks like it was done digitally and that you just printed it out...xD
I used 2H pencil to do the fine lines and sketched out what I wanted and where. After I was happy with the page, I inked it with Staedtler (pigment liner) pens. I have .1, .3, .5, and .7 line thicknesses (bought as a bundle). There is another brand that are like the Staedtler pens, but the name escapes me.
Besides the tools, a very steady hand and knowledge of pens and how to use them. For a general rule that I use, start with the .1 and if you need to "block" in black areas use the thicker pens - or use a black markers for really BIG areas - or .5 or .7 for the lines around characters to make them "pop out".
Probably more than what you were asking for, but it should be helpful to anyone now. xD
