I was going to finish coloring this, but I found the pure white rather appealing. I'm considering getting rid of the black parts. That aside, the bold red on pure white is rather beautiful to me XD.
The original idea when I was drawing this was about a high-level boss battle, with Krof as the enemy. Since his true self is the Tuning Fork (it is a conscious backup of everything about him), and is nearly indestructible, the only way to hurt it would be to destroy the puppet-body and force the forks to build a new one.
In the first part of the battle, Krof has a moderately high HP, but isn't fighting all that seriously. He uses status effects a lot.
After you beat him, the forks sacrifice some of their HP to create a new one. This new body has lower HP and overall stats, but is fighting much more seriously, incorporating the forks themselves into attacks (very damaging).
Keep beating these rebuilt versions of Krof until the forks get tired and flee.
Typical attacks includes physical and sound types, with a few psychological ones thrown in too.
