Sorry for the rushed gif, I'm pretty busy rn ;-;

I don't really browse here that much, but from what I've seen when uploading my stuff there are a ton of dragons with paw pads instead of a traditional, reptilian claw.
I've always found that curious! Do you guys prefer dragons with mammalian paws or do you guys prefer the traditional stuff?

I personally love claws on dragons more, mainly because dragons are powerful creatures and claws are such a predatory trait, as they are extremely good at gripping prey , which I think benefits dragons more than having paws. which is more suited for traveling on land and regulating temperature, or so I believe.

Kinda like how birds have claws because it's so much easier to swoop down and grab prey, which is what I kinda picture dragons doing.


Dang, I kinda went on a mini rant here, sorry lol. Do you think claws are better on dragons, or paws?
