Quick drawing of Melee doing the talky-talky, partially done as a drawing exercise but mostly to serve as supplementary material for an art raffle I held over on Twitter.
I actually started this drawing last year on Christmas Eve before I went on vacation for the rest of the year, managing to make it all the way to the flat colors before I returned to work the following year to commence shading. Looks like Melee's got a letter in his hand and is very eager to tell us about it! Is he sending it out? Did someone send him something? What do you think is inside?

As this is not a scene, I have very little else to say about the pic, but I think it came out... eh, okay-ish. I definitely overdid it with the Sharpie pen on the eyebrows and gambeson lines... I really shouldn't have gone over those areas twice, but it was really sunny where I was working on this and there was a lot of blacks in those areas, and... ah. That aside, Melee looks like such a dork with that big smile, doesn't he?
