Neakal , thank you very much!
Too tired to think of anything to say about it. So i guess just imagine some exhaustive description about all the trials and tribulations that i went through to get this painting done and also some really cool story about it or something!

Random thing I noticed: Whenever I see the thumbnail for one of your pictures, it appears as it should, but when I open the full picture, the colours appear darker/muted. I noticed it especially on https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45373344/ in which the light column appears grey rather than white. Do you reckon it's furaffinity doing some compression or is my browser doing some fuckery I'm not aware of?
No, not your fault. I had some tech changes on my end so recently the pictures are coming colour profile. Which probably just isn't being applied to the thumbnail.
However the light column shouldn't be grey, that is a bit strange, and when i check on my decives (second screen, android phone, ipad) it appears to display correctly on all of them.
So it's a no, you're not doing anything wrong, but yes, if it's grey then it's not displaying correctly, however i don't quite know why and with things like that it's always tough for me to figure it out as i of course can't see how other people's screens display things.
I notice the grey light column only on my ipad when the brightness is lowered, then you'd probably notice whites being grey on other pictures too...hmm...

I just went and checked...if I hover over the picture on your profile page, it displays with the correct brightness. Same on my phone. However on both things the greyness appears when I click through to the full size version. So it appears that something is up with furaffinity. But yeah I'm not good with finding out the fault of such things either. Utterly mystifying.
Recently mostly JPG as someone mentioned twitter apparently likes to compress PNG files weirdly.
The recent Of gold and riches painting was a PNG though, so if NSFW stuff isn't a problem you can probably see here if it's the same for PNG files with the whites and the difference between the thumbnail and the actual picture.

The effect appears to be on that one. Interestingly it's not happening with Jungle Study or Racclantis for example, but Jungle Study 2 and Life Drawing 2 has the effect. Most curious is Other Worlds. It looks fine in the original pic but slightly greyed in the 2021 Art Summary. I am befuddled.
Yeah, it's stuff i bought last year, so the switch happened at some point in the year, meaning older pictures don't have it but newers do (for the most part).
Basically i need to for my display to show it accurately while painting. So if i turn the colour profile off it just ends up not looking like how it was intended. But yeah i'll have to see if i can sort it on my end as i don't even really know why it's the way it is. My old monitor was calibrated with the same software and didn't throw that extra wrench into things.
