The Gossam Class Frigate was a lighter warship designed originally for use by the Commerce Guild in patrolling and defending their territory prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars, the class was compact but well defended for a pre-war vessel of it's size while possessing a decent amount of speed which was once used to chase down smugglers but now saw use intercepting corvettes or light frigates.
