An idea I had for a while, of a Tarbosaurus glaring down at a defiant Nanuqsaurus, as it was partially an excuse to draw the latter Tyrannosaur but also expand more on APW Alaska. The Tarbosaurus is from a tribal confederation that's essentially the Inuits, who crossed the Bering Strait some fifteen hundred years ago and came to dominate the American Arctic coast through their aggression and strength although a few tribes have held out against their attacks such as the Aleuts, Haida, and the Tlingit who use the mountains and waterways to their advantage. That's where this particular female comes in, as a member of this Tlingit who warily eyes this towering invader from Chukchi. I did think of the Laramidian saurians sharing similarities in language and culture from their East Asian counterparts whereas the saurians of Appalachia have similarity with certain west Eurasian peoples like the Vasconics and North Caucasians.
