Stir fry is something I had a bad relationship with growing up because my mom would always over season it and make it almost inedible. I always had this subconscious fear of screwing it up. But I finally decided to try it for myself and trust in my cooking skills.
I didn't use any recipe in particular, but a guide to making a variety of stir frys found here: https://awesomefitnessrecipes.tumbl...../181681424519/
I used flank steak that was on sale, baby corn, carrots, broccoli, and two ingredients they didn't suggest but I love, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. I went with the basic sauce, and marinated the meat in a similar mixture for 6 hours.
Thoughts: This was a success I think! Maybe just a tad too salty, so I'd use less soy sauce next time and a bit more water. The meat was nice and tender, and the blend of veg was excellent. I'd love to add snap peas next time. We need a bigger wok though, the one we have is pretty small and I had to cook in batches.
