Princess and Master have their second day at the Mage's Guild. Master has decided to accept the offer, if only to get people to stop treating him like he's dangerous and uncontrolled. Well, really, because the promise of being able to study far more than he could get access to on his own, plus the prospect of being able to pick up customers he wouldn't get otherwise, made it pretty enticing. Hopefully, they won't put too many demands on him...

I was having a little trouble hitting the notes I wanted to with this chapter, at least in a way that felt satisfying. I still hit some important ones, I think, and it felt like a good place to stop the chapter before I had another massive one. This one comes in at 6168 words, which brings the total for the series so far to 74,407. Granted, there's a bit of recap in each chapter, so if I was to try to compile this into a book, I'd probably be closer to about 65k, as a rough estimate? Hey, who knows, there's still more to go, after all.
