So yeah, here we are, with a reboot of sorts! It's kind of... a soft reboot in it's own way. Whilst I wanted this to be a 'fresh start' so to speak, I didn't want to completely lose what came before. As such previous events from the first iteration of C.O.W.S are being referenced... at least loosely. Noone should have to read the original run to understand what's happening now - but I think having that history there adds a nice extra layer of depth that means the same ground isn't being walked all over again!

This time I also wanted to jump straight into the action. Last time Part 1 was a big introduction, but with no actual wrassling. This time? Part 1 brings you two fights!
Starting off with Kallan vs First Mate Plunder, I wanted to begin things with a relatively... 'standard' match. Yes there's some shenanigans of course from the Bilge Rats, but for the most part this is a pretty cut-and-dry wrestling match. I wanted to open up with a match that gave the idea of well... how these will be written and how they'll go down! Hope it was enough to entice people - and to also establish exactly what everyone in the fight is about!

Second match meanwhile was Vixy vs Daisy, in which I got to have a lot more fun playing up Vixy's gimmick! This one was, by comparison, a bit of a squash match. Not a completely one-sided battle, I did want to give the masked ball of energy a chance to show a little of what she's about but... it was definitely more one-sided than my usual fair.
I'd say don't expect too many squash fights through the course of C.O.W.S... but sometimes, well, they fit the story you want to tell! And in this case... well, there's plenty of plans ahead for BOTH competitors here!
