I’m definitely down for a Pokémon project however one thing to keep in mind is I have seen at least 2 people’s patreon accounts get shut down over Pokémon porn. I have absolutely no idea how prevalent this is but just something to be aware of.

Really?? I know so many who draw Pokemon porn and many other creatures from other franchise D:
have they overdone it?

Nintendo doesn't like it when you use something like pateron to fund pokemon porn. They don't care if you draw it on your own, but if you make a patreon specifically to fund it, they get pissed.

So many famous furrys draw Poke Porn and show it on Patreon.

I think it's different if I would create a pure Patreon where you would get only Pokemon stuff. But most of my art comes from my own ideas.

With Patreon, I only fund all of my art. No matter if there is a Pokemon in between or not.

Otherwise you would have to denounce all artists.

The issue is whether they get caught. It’s copyright to monetize use of characters that don’t belong to you and while you could more likely than not get away with it I just wanted to inform you what could happen before you make any final decisions about the project.

I still don't make as much money with Patreon as those who were caught .... but then I throw the idea over the pile.
I don't have that much time for projects that I can't earn anything with. ._.

Honestly I’d still like to see this story be it pokémon or original characters. It may just require a slightly different monetization strategy is all.

Unfortunately, without people understanding how eevee evulutions work, the story of the comic would not make sense. ._.

Mostly the comics they were making, but Nintendo did target all of Kuroodod's pokemon stuff (even their own character). So they'd go for everything pokemon related if you make money off it, but seems comics greatly trigger their desire to go after you.

It's really unfortunate, but individual art pieces time to time are okay. Just comics and merchandise is a bad idea if using Pokemon.
There is the possibility of making your own unrelated to pokemon characters and refraining from ever using the word "pokemon/pocket monsters".
What if you turned those two Eevees and the Umbreon into fennec foxes? You could alter the designs some but could keep a the color patterns.
I couldn't promise it'd work, but original design and unrelated connections to "pokemon" would be the goal, your own IP and character designs.

Without Pokemon, unfortunately, the whole story is broken, because it was about evulutionen. This does not exist with real animals.

Ah, I understand. This is really unfortunate as I love Eeveelutions and I as well others hate we had to bring bad news like that, but Nintendo does what Nintendo does.

While evolution evolve may not exist with real animals; it can with fantasy. The theme of creatures of evolving into something else isn't really new or exclusive to Pokemon, so it could still be used. Just figuring out a way is the only problem. But please don't give up on it entirely, do a bit of thinking on it and dream ways you could maybe make your own little fantasy world like that.

I would have to sort of wntwick pokemon that are similar to the eevees for the whole thing to make sense. But I suspect that it will not trigger the same feeling. Many might feel connected to the theme because they might even know it from the game. ._.' its not the same

It may not have the same feeling as actual Pokemon's Eevees would given the game nostalgia. Eeveelutions and like most all Pokemon evolve based on affection and friendship, so I feel you could show that well. I mean you know your comics idea and what you wanted, so I believe you could use the original story still. People would support it well given your art.

I love this idea personally. I love Pokémon porn but I love OC porn just as much if not more. Unless this idea just straight up would not work outside the context of the pokémon world I vote making the idea 100% your own :)

This can be But I don't have the time when I have to concentrate more on the supported comic. People expect it to go faster when I have the time.

And the time would be missing if I draw the Poke comic without knowing that it would be supported.

I mean there's also the fact that there are trolls out there that try to claim they are Nintendo. I mean in the end its your choice. But if you want to do it as a personal project I'd say entertain the idea, as we all have to do things for ourselves from time to time.

this sheet is definitely a great announcement of your new idea ;3 we've known for a long time that your comics absolutely rule in this category and each subsequent one will bravely support this place. A comic with pokemons can be a really great idea, especially since so far you have moved between fox comics, so what the comic from a slightly different world will look like, is very interesting ^^ even from such a simply created character-only sheet, we are able to notice your references to the story as it builds up in your head. if this idea ever sees the light of day, you can be sure that you will keep it at a master level without any problems, I'm sure of that ;3 great job Ruki <3

i am not allowed to draw the comic. i am not allowed to finance the idea with patreon. And without Patreon, I don't have the time.

it really sucks that such factors limit you, sometimes make your work impossible. however, it is good that they did not appear during working, but only at the beginning of the idea. even if the idea could not arise. many artists have imaginations and ideas that would be envied by other artists. I think that the mind of artists, no matter if they are graphic or musical etc, is much more developed in terms of ideas than in other people. Also for this reason there was no a serious situation in which the artist fell into great sadness or depression because the idea was lost, only to come up with a new one. developing your skills is developing your imagination. more ideas will emerge over time. when I was creating melodies on instruments, I was abandoning many ideas that I could not implement for some reasons, but instead created a few others that I keep in my memory so far. Just because an idea turns out to be impossible to implement does not mean that all similar ones as well ;3 this is what ideas are for to guide you on the right path in creating a specific work. if there is no such, the idea is lost. keep trying, even if there are problems with this comic, believe me you will come up with a lot of new ideas in the future ^^

Kurodood wurde eigentlich nur erwischt, weil er oder ein Kommentator "Lets go Eevee" - bezogen auf den Hauptcharakter Sam - der zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch ein Eevee war - gepostet hat.

Nintendo hat zu diesem Zeitpunkt oder in der näheren Angabe die Spiele "Let's go Eevee" und "Let's go Pikachu heraus gebracht. Da es sich bei Nintendo um ein Familien freundliches Unternehmen handelt, wurden diese Patreon-Seiten gemeldet und gesperrt.

Allerdings gibt es noch Hoffnung, also mehr oder weniger. Der User "Haychel" hat seit Jahren einen SFW Pokémon-Comic über Patreon laufen und niemand sagt etwas. Der User ist nie gesperrt worden. Bei NSFW sieht das wohl anders aus.

Ich vermute auch eher, dass Kurodood zufällig aufgeflogen ist, denn meistens suchen Spieler Informationen über Spiele im Internet, wenn sie nicht weiter kommen. Und wenn er/sie "let's go Eevee" eingegeben hat und auf eine solche - möglicherweise auch ungesperrte - Seite gestoßen ist könnte das von seitens der Eltern oder pflichtbewusste Spieler gemeldet worden sein und Nintendo hat entsprechend reagiert um keine Käufer zu verlieren.

Auch Blitzdrachin, Fuf, RymHerdier, bluebean und andere User posten ihre NSFW-Pokémon-Comics teilweise noch über Patreon. Ob die dann nur noch die SFW Seiten oder gar zensierte Seiten posten, das weiß ich nicht. Ich prüfe das nicht.

Du kannst es nur versuchen, am besten nur die SFW oder stark zensiert, dann sollte nichts passieren. Doch du kannst mal nach DMCA in Verbindung mit Pokémon und Patreon suchen, wirst ja sehen was bei raus kommt.

Oder du schaust mal ob du es über "Coffee" posten kannst. Da soll es - im Moment - noch keine Gebüren beim Bezahlen geben.

Ich hätte kein Problem, den Sex aus der Geschichte raus zu lassen.
Aber wenn es im allgemeinen Verboten ist damit Geld zu verdienen, was ich durchaus verstehen kann .... muss ich es wohl sein lassen :(

Erst mal verboten scheint es, generell, nicht zu sein, sonst würden nicht immer noch User Pokémon-Porn Comics posten.
Würde Candyfoxy's "Lucky Bastard" in dem es übrigens um einen Harem aus Blitza und ein Nachtara geht (das lustigerweise auch ein Shiny war), noch laufen, wenn Nintendo das verboten hätte? Ich denke nicht,

Ich glaube, dass Nintendo mit dem DMCA und einem Syntax wohl vermehrt nach dem Begriff "Eevee" und "Pikachu" sucht. Eben durch die Spiele "Let's go" weshalb das ganze ja auch erst raus kam.

Es sollte also machbar ein, diesen Comic auf Patreon zu posten, so lange Begriffe wie "Eevee" oder "Eeveelution" weder in den Tags, noch in den Unterzügen oder in Kommentaren auftauchen. Denn Patreon hat weder die menschlichen noch die technischen Möglichkeiten wirklich jeden zu finden. Das wäre gar nicht machbar. Dafür hatten die auch gar keine Ressourcen. Wenn es nicht gemeldet wurde, dann wäre es womöglich gar nicht aufgefallen.

Versuchs, wirst ja sehen ob die sich bei dir melden und mehr als deinen Patreon Account für 2 Tage oder so sperren, bis alles weg ist, können die eh nicht. Sonst hätten die Patreon längst ausgenommen.
Ansonsten wirklich mal "Coffee" probieren, damit habe ich noch keine Probleme gehört.

Ich werde das Comic nicht auf patreon posten, damit es nicht hinter einer Paywall ist.
Also frei, das sollte wirklich nicht verboten sein.
jeder weiß ja, wenn er mich dennoch unterstützen mag, kann er es mit Patreon tun. Werbung dafür mache ich auch nicht. Dann sollte es vielleicht gehen.
Ich denke es kommt vielleicht wirklich auf das Glück an, nicht erwischt zu werden, aber darauf möchte ich ungerne pokern.

This is a so beautiful and cool Poke project idea, and these are truly adorable characters, especially i love Kilin's design! Sadly Nintendo is freaking severe and will do everything to turn down this your new opportunity to create something fresh as a webcomic... it's sad, i know dear Ruki. Maybe one day there will be another chance, who knows, maybe even before than what we all are imagining. Keep up the amazing work and possibly a nice chance will pop out for this project! ;D
