Original song is by Sixpence None the Richer.
Someone suggested I record a song by this band, so I chose "Kiss Me" because it has a nice rhythm and I also remember as a young teenager learning to play/sing it with my guitar teacher. Happy times.
So yeah ^^ Had a bit of fun with this, and it's a bit sloppy but I really don't care, I have a sore throat so I can't do much better at the moment XD maybe I'll redo the vocals at some point. (I always say that don't I...?)

I use a program that allows me to record in different tracks, so I just build it up and up and up as I go :3 So I can hear what I have recorded and then sing over it as many times as I like, which is how I added 4 harmonies and some toher bits :3
and Thanks XD most people seem to think my accent is cute x_x;; I have sung more and more with my accent as I've gone along as well. Now I think I sound notibly English.

Any chance I could talk you into uploading a louder version? I just had to download this and add it to my playlist(I listen to MP3s while working), but compared to the commercial songs I have, it's a tad quiet. I ran it through Audacity(a linux sound editing software) to boost the volume, but I'm sure you could give us a much cleaner, better volume boosted copy then my amateurish sound-hacking.
I will see what I can do. I was having issues with the vocals being "too loud" for some odd reason and distorting... :s I don't know why because it didn't sound loud to me, but I had to put the master volume lower to stop the fuzziness. I am having some issues with my audio at the moment. I will get back to you or re-upload another version, just it might be hard for me to judge whether it sounds bad or not x_x;;
Actually, I didn't mean to turn up the vocals only, but the volume on the whole song. If I play an MP3 of a commercially produced song, it has a higher all around volume level then this MP3. In fact, your other songs have a higher sound level as well. As I said, it was easy for me to run the song through Audacity and simply amplify the volume a bit, but being as I am not an accomplished audio editor, I probably made mistakes that resulted in a reduction in quality to the song. I cannot tell at all myself, not having the keenest ear, but I thought I'd ask for an "official" version with a bumped volume level.
That is much better volumewise. As to the fuzziness you complain of, I could not hear it. But then, I do not have any sort of musically trained ear, and of course, everyone is their own worst critic. I have saved a copy of the file you provided. If you wish to provide a fuzz-free version later, I shall happily download that to replace the fuzzy one. In the meantime, I enjoy lilypad "kiss me" goodness! Thank you very much.
