Right, so this image was kind of mentally sabotaged by Nothing Happened. For starters I ended up skipping a week. Partly cause was out visiting family for sister's birthday, but when I came home and still could draw, I instead just kept looking at that and procrastinating until it was too late to start and thus didn't. And then during the week was all "should do diary instead," and didn't do that one either. And even still, when I did get myself to try and draw this, I had that voice in my head shouting at me that the drawing wasn't good enough by comparison and that I'm a worthless piece of shit for not being at that level again. And then ran out of time with only 4 hours worked on it.


Quality-wise it's probably a bit less than average for me for this year, and still way above what I could do in this span of time this time last year. It's just by comparison to Nothing Happened it sent my imposter syndrome into overdrive.


As for the drawing itself, I don't think I can be a fair judge for it. Was attempting to recreate one of  Ivanfromafar's old drawings. How well I pulled it off, don't know. Just know that I cannot judge this fairly because mentally I'm still comparing it against Nothing Happened first, which is leagues better. But at least that shouldn't hurt my next tone since that will be compared to this one.
