Illustration for the Vulk, a voracaious nyctophilic predator that can be found in Red Duke Games' upcoming 5e setting, Furthest Night - was a ton of fun to paint! Described to me as "The Big Bad Wolf if it came from the Upside-Down" (and requested to have that now-classic peel-away face), it wormed into my head as being a creature of utter stygian darkness and having "disturbingly malleable limbs" - what if it was a literal creature of shadow made flesh, impossible limbs sprouting into existence here and there and wherever, with hardened shards of oblivion for claws? I imagine it might constrict its prey while grappling with its many limbs, its long body itself opening up to consume it.
