Here is another hammer I have forged for copperworking.
The head of this hammer is made from a cheap ball pein hammer, a smaller one.
Just like the other hammer, this is polished to a mirror finish to leave a fine surface onto the copper so there is less work to be done with it.
I made the handle for this hammer from American hickory.
