King Frederick, wife of Queen Felicia and father of Princess Kat, has made rare appearances in the comic, but I felt I could have fleshed him out more, so I went on a bit of redesign for him.

Unlike his outgoing and headstrong wife and daughter, Fred is soft-spoken, awkward, and nerdy. He has trouble speaking without stutter, so he makes very few public appearances as possible, preferring to be out of the spotlight. As a result, Felicia did most of the public appearances.

Not that Fred is totally uninvolved. He does bookkeeping and stuff for the kingdom. He also dabbles in amateur science. Truthfully, he doesn't like being king and would rather do something else, like play D&D.

Queen Felicia took a liking to him because he found him oddly adorable. Also he makes her laugh, to quote Jessica Rabbit. She is quite possible the best guard Fred could ask for, as Felicia can be very defensive of him. You do not want to make Felicia angry by hurting her Fred.

Princess Kat has a very sweet relationship with him. She's a total daddy's girl, even if she gets lightly embarrassed if you point this out to her. Contrast to her relationship with Felicia (while loving, it also has its ups and downs, ha haa)
