As I said a while back that I was going to end the year off by drawing an example of really old artwork. Earlier in the year I had redrawn Fox Sniper from 2011, Winged Archer from 2008, Death from 2006 and MigeYeFoxe from 2004. And so I wanted to go and redraw something from 2002 to end the year. But I only had 2 drawings uploaded from 2002. And so I tracked down my original drawing notebook and grabbed one I wanted to redraw.


I had a few different ways I could have handled this image. Particularly just how animalistic they were. But I think I remember going through the notion that these weren't fully anthropomorphic foxes so much as just foxes that wore clothes and walked on two legs. And probably could have done a bit more study on how the limbs attach for normal foxes cause the arms look bad in my opinion.


But then again, I can really see how much my health can affect my line work. When I was doing the sketch I was dealing with a minor case of covid (mainly just mild headache and mild fever). And yeah, my ability to not chicken scratch my lines pretty much seemed to go out the window. As such, I sadly didn't really care too much to make sure it looked good. But overall I still think it turned out decently for a 6 hours 45 minute drawing.
