So first drawing of the year again and so it's time for this one again. And I got to say, the level of difference for this one is incredible. Like the one from 2020 and 2021 it's arguable which one is better. Mostly because I went with a coloring style on the 2021 one that ended up eating up all the time. So it effectively ended up a 10 minute sketch, 10 minute color, then 40 minute one-pass effect. But either way, can't really see much improvement between 2020 and 2021.


But look at the sheer degree of difference between 2021's drawing and 2022's. You can actually see where the various parts of the anatomy actually are now. The head actually looks like it has volume. Is it my best work? No. But the point is effectively a one hour speed-draw of that one image.
