Whiskers is a ice fairy found on Snow Ring Island, her back story is;she was born in this realm tho unfortunately in a young age she was frozen in a ice chest by the monsters and she remained there for a long time, and altho she was frozen she was still able to talk to herself and keep calm about the situation, tho Kongo found her and decided to take her in and the two eventually bonded together
Flare's story is a bit different, he was a simple flame in a lantern, nothing more nothing less... then when his lantern was set down, he suddenly came to life and began to playfully jump all over the place, it didnt help that this was in a forest too, and the owner didn't know this and decided to keep Flare in the Lantern, tho Flare was content with it, but when the owner got taken away by the Sea Fortress guards, Flare was alone and felt sad, almost being extinguished, but as his lantern and himself was taken and eventually sold off, he ran into Kongo and Kongo, like with Whiskers, decided to take care of him and Flare was never more happier in his life
