Minutemen Weekly Notes: La Tiérra, Weems Trade Numbers

Vera La Tiérra, the FBA's #1 draft pick and Minutemen starting point guard (and all-around gorgeous vixen) has traded numbers with ten-year veteran Liam Weems. When asked about what it took to do the transaction, Vera just smiled.
"I asked Liam if he wanted to trade numbers because I'm very partial to the number 10 and he agreed to a trade. I also offered to give him something in return, but he said just take the number if that's what would make me happy," she said.
The Welsh terrier nodded and grinned when told this. "Yes, that's exactly what happened," he said. "She asked me if I wanted anything in return for the number, and I said 'I'll just take your number one if it would make you happy to have ten.' So that was it."
La Tiérra said that she has worn the number 10 since she debuted for the San Juan Stars in the PRBL four years ago. She also wore it while playing for Puerto Rico's national team.
