I got hit by the Poetry Bug again. This is what came out. if you want to translate it all yourself, it will all make sense. If you don't, here's the poem in its entirety:
---
Even in a world of Darkness and Light
Things are seldom ever Black and White
Morals and opinions define Wrong and Right
So which would you choose; the Day or the Night?
But are one's options only A or B?
No; for C through Z are plain to see
Questions asked so blindingly
Leave one's decisions seeming binary
Make your choice based on perception
Shaped and molded since conception
But even from one's own inception
There's always a chance of some deception
But no matter whence these flasehoods came
The Truth will bring them each to shame
For no matter how many "facts" they name
The Truth will always stay the same
One should look through other people's eyes
Innocent or guilty; a man lives or dies
But if a person breaks a rule, or if it's the law they defy
Consult your moral compass, and ask that person "why?"
Why would you steal a rich woman's purse?
Poverty can lead a person to do much worse
Why shoot a man, and send him home in hearse?
That man killed my wife; I now suffer a terrible curse
So who in these cases is in the Wrong, or in the Right?
Are poverty and vengeance morally suitable plights?
Their innocence or guilt; for which would you fight?
And now I ask you again; the Day, or the Night?

Very interesting poem, I do enjoy how you juxtaposed the fact it was originally written in binary (a yes or no machine language) with it being about moral choice (yes or no or gray area). That and how there is the "truth", suggesting that even though there can be that gray area, there is also a chance it may still lead to a binary choice due to the absolute nature of such. Of course, in the end it appears to lead to such decisions being in this gray area stealing from the rich (who arguably have too much money, but at the same time it's still theft). Overall, a nice and through provoking piece, now all we need is to see some more moral ambiguity in such choices in video games X3.
Yup! I saw that laying around my submission box, and decided to give it a look since you tend to have nice outlandish ideas. And of course, reading poetry instantly strikes that thing in me somewhere which beckons for me to analyze stuff, and tudah. As for the binary, I knew there was *some* reason you did that :p, glad I got it!
