A decidedly happier piece to show that where tyranny leaves, freedom flourishes again. The artist is currently in a town between Kyiv and Kharkiv and was happy to draw a light hearted piece at a time of relative calm.
While in Russia, protestors of the war are being arrested, teachers turned in by their own students for teaching truth, friends and family members avoid talking to each other for fear of persecution for telling or even hearing the truth, in Ukraine, freedom dances as the assault leaves the interior for the east. It's not over of course but it is proof that like the promise of spring flowers, freedom will bloom in the wake of tyrannical winter. Sadly for the east of the country, winter is coming, let's hope that something happens to make Putin come to his senses and withdraw.
Duncan is seen here in a traditional Ukrainian outfit called a vyshyvanka and wearing a flower wreath as does Lancaster. Duncan does a little dance while Lancaster claps along.

F43filipp who left their comfort zone to draw characters unlike others they have drawn before only to find a larger comfort zone as a result.

Thank you so much for all your support!
It was a really interesting and enjoyable experience!
My hometown is Lisichansk, where I spent all my childhood now under shelling. I am glad that now, by coincidence, I live in a completely different and relatively safe city, but my heart bleeds at the thought of that small town in the Donbass, almost at the very border. It’s scary to hear details from my mother, who fled with the rest of the family to another city, from friends who also run away to safety.
But I still believe that this hell in my homeland will end as soon as possible.
