"The Woods Behind the School"

As seen from the video shared yesterday!

The title and words come from my thoughts while painting it ... The crow/raven figure reminded me of the first time I found a dead crow, and my friends all said he was cursed, Carlos the Cursed Crow, but every time I walked those woods to get to school, I would say hello to Carlos.
(This was like 5th grade, but that small greenbelt meant a lot to me as a Forest Child growing up in the suburbs. But, it's like Beatrix Potter said, “It sometimes happens that the town child is more alive to the fresh beauty of the country than a child who is country born.”
