In my story Drilling the Cubs, I had written how Graham Gurdetha is actually one of five siblings, and all five bears are professional musicians that were in the marching band for COTS, or Circus of the Superstars. His brothers are Xavier, George, John, and Henry (seen here). All five can play percussion instruments, which I have represented here with the white drumsticks and stitched leather war drums.

Henry is strictly a percussionist, and the first marching song he ever drummed along to was the Irving Berlin number Oh, How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning. "I just wish the guy didn't want to murder the bugler; that's pretty morbid," he said. "But then, the song is an exaggerated look at WWI life. Still, the bugler needs a drummer alongside him."
