This happens a lot on social media / art gallery websites...
While browsing social media webpages, I come across some artists and art that I find interesting - either its the style, character design and/or technique they use. After browsing their gallery, I give them a follow and favorite a few of their illustrations. Sometimes, I would go on their Likes/Favorite page to see what kind of artwork they like to view and share from others. Sometimes I come across images that I don't really like or I find interesting, but then there were times that I saw shared subject matter that would be considered "questionable material" in most parts of the world - the type of stuff that you wish you didn't want to see. When I see those kinds of shared/liked posts that the artist collects, I unfollow them. Love the art, but the artist's "interests" are a bit too much for me and I don't want to support or see that kind of genre of art on my social media feed. So many things I didn't want to see at all...

Yeah, I know this feeling. As time has gone on in the fandom for me, I find I've grown kinda picky as to what kinds of things I see and am able to even tolerate anymore. I introspect over it, even as I try to look a second time at some art, while outright skipping other common trends I see.
Let me put it this way.. there is a reason i am avoiding the bulk of so-called "social" media like the proverbial plague. Primarily because I don't want to be dragged into drama by ideologues or crybullies. And for the most part it has worked just fine for me. I just prefer not to get involved - and offer the same to others: So long as what a given person is into is legal, I have no problem with it. Sure, I may find some things distasteful, but that is it. I've seen way too much emotional manipulation throughout my life - and therefore have developed a strong mental gag-reflex whenever I am exposed to such attempts. You do you, so let me be me.
I've more recently been doing something similar using journals. One thing I've found is that there is a very strong relationship between serious bigotry and a declining trend in both the quality and quality of creative output. Thus, even if you don't care about the artist being, well, scum it can be worth a check if you don't like watching artists switch from doing art to making their money by being 'patreonized' for anti-virtue signalling.
I really wish you could follow someone on Twitter but set it to only see their own posts without likes and retweets.
I followed someone who occasionally posted fun and insightful writings, but between those posts they retweeted a lot of unfunny memes and other nonsense. Nothing bad per se, but it got annoying to have my feed fill up with retweeted white noise so I had to unfollow them.

Separating the art from the artist is a dilemma that goes way back and carries across many facets of An Artist's personality, taste, and politics. It's an ongoing thing, and a decision everyone has to make for themselves. Do you have to suddenly throw away everything done by a particular artist, actor, author, musician, comedian, etc. when they do something reprehensible?
One might also consider cutting people a certain amount of slack for personal taste. Don't kinkshame. Consider some things you may like that others could find offensive and where lines might really need to be drawn.
Personally, I find there are quite a few people who I find offensive for one reason or another whose art I like. I generally try to keep these things separate, but it IS difficult for it not to color how I feel about their work. Whether I like their work or not certainly doesn't give them a pass or prevent me from criticizing them, however.

As I said below, a good article on the subject: https://www.nationalreview.com/wp-c....._20220502.html
Know how this is a bit all to well. Though I don't really look at favorites of others as that's what they do and like, as long as not anything of vile nature like sexism/racism/fascism kind of things. I'm more interested in what they make themselves for their art gallery. The content they make for their gallery will overall often reflect who they are and what they like. Makes having to look at their favorites non needed usually. If they make enough content to my interests and outweighs the content I don't have interest in I'll follow, else pass by or unfollow if they've changed what they make since I followed them a long time ago.
Social Media, like Twitter, is quite different and overall what a person does there or follows reflects entirely on their profile and themselves which can warrant a quick sudden unfollow (or follow).

See, this is why I don't block people. It shuts down discussion, and it's completely cowardly to snipe and block.
Here's the thing though: They had a completely valid point, and you're dodging it.
Racism is the oppression of one racial group by another. It's widespread and systemic. It's a question of people with more power exploiting, dominating, or oppressing another group with less power. It has extremely serious real world impacts on the lives and psyches of the people being oppressed.
"Reverse racism" simply doesn't exist because the group with less power doesn't have the ability to exploit, dominate, or oppress the more powerful group. They could be prejudiced, they could even discriminate, but it's impossible for them to use racism because they're not in a position to do so.
So if somebody uses the term "Reverse racism" or says things like "Raciss", or "Dat's wacist", -which are obviously mocking phrases- they're either ignorant of what racism really is, or they're supporting racism. That's why people object to that kind of language. It supports racism.

Precisely. Which makes things like affirmative action, where people with more power are oppressing another group with less power simply because the oppressed group used to be the oppressors, racist. Not justice, vengeance.

Affirmative action is an attempt to even the odds for the oppressed group in a very narrow circumstance. Once again, you could possibly term it prejudicial or discriminatory, but it's not racist. It still doesn't undo the overall balance of power to any significant extent. No one is being oppressed in the case of affirmative action. And vengeance has absolutely nothing to do with it, that's just paranoid.
(shrugs) Tell that to the deserving students, workers et cetera denied education, jobs et cetera because they were allegedly part of the oppressor class while incompetent members of the 'oppressed' class were given positions they couldn't handle and were ill-suited to.
For the record, I favor a meritocracy.

It usually isn't -and really has no reason to be- a zero sum game. The very idea that you assume it grants benefits to less qualified people just shows that you don't understand how affirmative action actually works. It's also, by default, pretty damned racist.
It's also quite interesting that affirmative action seems to be the only instance of "Reverse racism" that conservatives are ever able to come up with.

At least here on FA you only get their posts and journals. Unless you check their Favorite manually, you'll never see them. And I think I prefer it that way. "Reblogging" or whatever is kinda overrated.
Though at least Tumblr seems to have cut down on some of the nastiness on their site. =P
