Oh, so Abby is somewhat familiar with those woods? Seems like she's done some exploring. Well, Tina has one better--she's ploughed her way all the way across whatever the wetlands have to offer. But how did Abby know? This was a convenient assumption I made in light of Abby's canon counterpart, Janey Simmons, an outdoorswoman who loves camping and learning survival tactics. Presumably, Abby has been on a few excursions with her (based upon an unrelased short story involving the duo in a golf cart stuck on a muddy forest road).
Technical:
Once again, a SketchUp model provides much of the background and foreground objects, although they are less visible given the chosen camera angles (I forgot to draw in the credit card reader...might come back to this and put it in someday). A fair bit of work involved re-coloring the 2D expressions of the models as I only just learned how to add color to SketchUp models (which is kind of clunky since I haven't found a means of picking colors other than the pre-sets). I actually had to add on to the 3D model of the front of the store in order for the upper parts of the windows and doorway to move off-panel. Oh yeah--transparent windows...those are a thing too. Got quite a bit to learn about this application.
Digital drawing done in Clip Studio Paint EX with indoor backdrops from SketchUp Make 2017. 26 layers, 20.2MB .CLIP file. Part of Project ID# 500 (Page 101)
