Rhythm Rat (Hero Forge): Sitting Down
One of two screenshots I took on Hero Forge of my character Rhythm Rat, essentially the American-born counterpart of the Snare Soldier. Though I wasn't entirely happy with the way it came out, Rhythm Rat is a white rat, and so I did what I could. I also used what resources were available to me, and so the design has him sitting down in a wooden chair holding his sticks over a stitched leather war drum.
Rhythm Rat is the first (of many) recruited American-born rats to serve as a Drumbum, and he says the Snare Soldier was kind enough to take him under his wing, and even treats him like a younger brother. When he's not performing as a Drumbum, he teaches percussion at the prestigious music school Battlefield Music Academy, a school said to make other elite schools such as Berkeley and Julliard pale in comparison. Thus, I have him dressed in the school colors, blue and orange, wearing a suit and tie.
"I thank Roger (Snare Soldier) for being my mentor and friend," he said, "but he can still out-drum me any day of the week. He makes it look so easy!"
