What makes us decide things? We decide something every day, every hour, minute, or second. But for what reason? So that we have a path that we can take? That we have a purpose?
Nobody knows the answer. The only thing we are sure of is if this decision we did was right or wrong, but do we really know if it was? It could have been right for you, but maybe wrong for others. Or even the other way around. If we feel like that decision was right, then that makes us happy, as if we did the right thing. But when it was wrong, then we regret this decision and would wish to turn back time to decide differently.

Do you have decisions that you regret? That you so desperately want to change? I do. Many. Big and small decisions that I really would want to change so very much.
But then comes the question, what if we decided differently on that very moment that we regret? We might not be the person that we are today. We might not be here where we are at this very moment. So many things could be different just because of a simple decision...


In this artwork I was simply flying around, enjoying the sun of the cold winter day. Until I saw a ravine from above and decided to check it out, diving straight into it without thinking about possible problems that might face me. Problems like not being able to get out anymore, out of this ravine, and never being able to return to my friends and family as I looked at that lonely flower at the very bottom of the ravine, finding my end simply because I made the decision to fly into the ravine. I could have continued. Could have ignored the ravine, but I didn't...
