The Gods left the World, but some of them stayed. Whether pride was the cause, or the wounds from the Dark Brothers' blades prevented them from leaving with the rest, no one knows. There were too few left to even attempt to revive the World in its original design. Although they may have healed the most terrible wounds, the scars will never disappear completely. The Dark Gods left a terrible legacy: creatures and monsters, cursed artefacts and knowledge that were not part of the great plan.
