The Star Gods may have declared their victory, but this did not reflect the real state of affairs. Almost all the Dark Gods that invaded Asteria were destroyed during the War, but there were still survivors. Too cunning, furious, or just lucky licked their wounds and grinned at the skies as the Star Children returned to their Kingdoms. Escape was out of the question, and any attempt to do so would have been a shameful death. The Dark Gods had no illusions about their future and waited for their Brethren to come for them. But instead of a glorious final battle, they were faced with a trap prepared by those whom the Dark Kin feared least. Mortals have prepared shrines to capture and hold the remaining Dark Gods forever. One by one, They were captured and imprisoned, and there was no escape. The greatest of mortal wizards and their patrons have hidden the Divine Dungeon deep in the jungles of the First Continent, ensuring that the Children of Destruction can no longer stain Asteria with their presence.
