I originally wanted to draw something for Cinco de Mayo but gave up part way in order to focus on this idea instead. This here is Dolores Lavergne, a character I drew last year, getting her cigarette lit by Valentin Declerq, a fellow Pyroraptor who flies alongside her. As his wingsar, Dolores has a close relationship with Valentin though the Belgian is protective of her when in the air due to losing a previous wingsar and close friend from the FaB, in spite of Dolores' protests. Still, the two of them frequent the slummy bars in Kisangani when they were weren't out on missions, as seen here.
Progress was hampered mainly by dealing with annoying sinus/tooth pressure, I'm waiting for a referral on a root canal. Also, Valentine's colors were based off of those of the Eurasian Blue Tit.
