Surf's up!!! Sea otter riding a pretty massive wave, painted in Photoshop. (: Ah, I'm starting to miss the ocean something fierce... methinks a trip there is in order soon.

PHOTOSHOP!??? Dang woman! I thought that this was done in ArtRage 2.2 or Painter.
This is some seriously impressive work from you oCe, the sheer brilliance with which you handled the sunlight shining through the wave, recreating the accurate refraction qualities of water in the process, would be more than enough for me to pay a hansom price for this masterpiece.
Bravo oCeLoT! :)

wonderful! The color choices and the sun lighting up the water in the center of the wave is beautiful! Only thing that i would suggest is maybe if there was more contrast in the yellow sky-instead of it being relativley the same shade of yellow while the blues have so much depth....your by far my superior when it comes to color, but i thought i might offer my input :) . Really wonderful work.
Hmm.. reminds me of when I was doing a surfing style picture a few months back, couldn't find a good wave reference for the life of me! And now here we are, great ref, and I've already finished the piece!
I like it, the water looks like it was a huge headache, but it also looks like it was worth the effort!

just want to say please, I decided to go back to better times going through my old faves, and this art is one that takes me back, to when we all were freer and the world didn't have so much division. Furry art had less burdening it and it just seemed like there were fewer worries in the world. thanks for keeping this up and letting a fan imagine the past.
