Steve: Now keep in mind that this isn't your regular fun weekend jump out of a plane, rookie! There's a lot less height, the area is different, and there's a lot of potential death traps! Keep your eyes on your surroundings and open in time! Limit the tricks to a minimum, hold a good body position. If all that is clear, check your gear and leap off the platform whenever you're ready!
Fred: Understood, sir! All set and ready to go! *Pulls straps tight and leaps off of cliff with a back flip*

More story time!
Fred felt ready to take his funny skydiving antics to the next level by learning to base-jump, which spiked his interest after seeing a few people in the area do that. So he asked Steve a few questions about it and if he could teach him how it works, and how it's different than his regular weekend fun at the airfield. Steve wasn't sure if Fred was experienced enough to be able to learn it, but he came to the conclusion that he was just about ready to take on the next step. So they took off into a more mountainous area and immediately found a big wooden jump platform which is perfect for this stuff. And here they are - Fred doing base jumping, taught and supervised by Steve. I think they had a good time out there.
