>"Nyah, haaah... r-right, Sorry!" the feline seems increasingly worried now, but his defenses have lowered. "I've finished scouting this town so I was just- umm... looking to entertain myself for a while. You understand, right?"
"Anyways," he composes himself as he begins his report, "The blockade along the main road to the north has left the town pretty low on supplies, but they're still doing well enough to act like everything is still business as usual. I'd give em another week or two before they start getting desperate. They'll welcome whatever we have to offer them by then, at whatever price."
"Well, unless of course you had other plans for this place..." he seems uncomfortable as he says this, but continues. "But there's really not much else to say. The town guard is pathetic, they can't even track down some lousy thief that stole their breakfast this morning. You'll have no trouble with them."
"If that's all you needed, I'll be on my way now." the feline finishes, "I'm sure there are plenty more towns you need me to scout out, right?"
>During this discussion, Flare appears to have snapped out of it. He can't remember how he got over here and feels too fuzzy to have followed most of the conversation.
>>Jag pauses in his chatting with the very nice mouse and asks Sefra what's up and if he can be of any help, then winks to Gwen to show how good of a helper he is!
>Things seem to be wrapping up on Damien's end, so Sefra informs Jag that they're probably about to leave. "So try to pay attention... you don't want to get left behind do you?" the rabbit asks.
Jag appears to jump at the thought, "Of course not! Don't worry, I'll pay attention!" he replies, paying closer attention now as he goes back to his chat. Gwen appears to have been impressed by Jag thus far.

Damien: casually ask how the men at the blockade are holding up, then cut him loose so you can pump him for more information should you cross paths again before letting Sefra et al know what's going on.
Sefra: take everyone off to the equipment shop, since you're either going to have to go through the woods and avoid the blockade, fight your way through it, or go through the woods to flank it THEN fight it. Add artillery pieces to the shopping list.
