To me, Chip is like a combination of Wile E. Coyote (building elaborate contraptions to fulfil a simple goal which always fail to do so) and the little red riding hood wolf (the fact that he's a kiddy fiddler and he is, of course, a wolf). Can nobody come up with an idea that's totally original anymore...no, no, probably not.
Well I think they wanted something more 'fit' looking so they could get away with selling cookies for breakfast, y'know? A fat dog isn't the best sales representative for a sugary cereal xD

I guess famous amos has sort of become what I think of by default when I hear "tiny chocolate chip cookies" so I was like fuck yessssssssssssssss but then there aren't even real chocolate chips they're just like little brown dots :C

There use to be varying dynamics in cartoon mascots. Barney always got away with Fred's Pebbles, The Rabbit never got his Trix, Lucky always kept hold of his charms (though he often shared) Dig'um beat the shit out of that cat, And Officer Crumb always saved the kid's cereal from the Cookie Crook. But now, we just have 2 Trix rabbits, only one's a wolf.
