As Gadget started to put the last of the tools away from the repair job she had just completed, her head snapped around upon hearing a warning growl in the alley behind her. She quickly grabbed an open ended wrench that was longer than her forearm, and peeked around the corner. Standing with their backs to her were four armed humans that were pointing weapons of some sort at her mate Chaos. She also noted they were wearing helmets, and body armor. It wasn't too hard to figure that they had hit Chaos with a tranquilizer, or something else based on the way he was staggering.

The sheer audacity that they had attacked her mate only served to fully enrage Gadget, and she was going to make them pay for this transgression. Her eyes flared red as she raised the wrench over her head. As she bared her teeth, she let out a deep, guttural growl while reaching out to grab the closest foe.

Gadget grabbed their shoulder, and pulled them back as the wrench cut an arc through the air before connecting with the barrel of the gun they were holding. Her hand stung slightly from the impact, but the weapon was torn from the human's grasp, and clattered across the ground. A quick shove sent them forward into the one they were standing near, and sent both of them sprawling in a tangle mess of limbs. A quick reversal brought the wrench up, and solidly nailed the third human in the forearm. She heard their cry of pain; most likely like to due to their now broken arm.

That left one still standing up, and Gadget watched them turn to face her. Without missing a beat, she ducked while turning; they were just a touch too far to hit with the wrench. The speed in which she moved caused that human to miss high when they pulled the trigger. What didn't miss was her tail, which slammed hard into their stomach, and in turned caused them to brutally hit the wall.

Turning around, Gadget saw that the first one she had attacked get to their feet. The gargoyle took a few quick steps before smashing them in the face with her forearm. Grabbing the last one, she punched them in the face before pinning them to the wall. She could smell the human's fear. Good. Putting her face within a few inches of his, she snarled, "If I ever catch you, and your ilk near me, or my mate again, they will never find your bodies."
