escape from the light,
darkness take flight,
let me show you a trick,
some black magic.
Always fun having both an acoustic and an electric drum kit, some fun mucking around with synthesizers too! :>
Thanks to those that take a listen!

This is an excellent bit of work. My only real hitch is the bass guitar you were using couldn't pull off what you were trying for at 1:50. The tools at your disposal and such, but eh.
I did have a few other notes about your mixing after listening to this and a few other tracks (The two were especially excellent). It's softer than average for one, which hurts in a lot of ways. Short version is you have a lot of volume left before you start clipping and it'd do your compositions justice to use a bit more of it.
Other thing is, and a large part of this is because your volume is so soft, you have a very tight control on the overall volume in the piece. This works very well with more classical themes, where the swing between loud and soft sections is an important part of the composition, but for what you were doing in Black Magic, it hurt you in the end. It left the rhythm section feeling flat. If I crank the volume, yes, the kick drum is punchy on its own, but in the mix, not particularly so. The bass guitar also came off as too soft most of the time. In a very energetic piece like Black Magic, you usually want to open up the volume control for the rhythm section and let them drive the listener on. Your usual style had the opposite effect, and most of the rhythm section's thunder was stolen by the melody lines when the swell of instruments became the drive.
If you want a good example of what I'm talking about, check out The Accursed Seal (Castlevania II) by Sixto Sounds on OCRemix.org.

my pleasure ^^ i was watching
soryane do her livestream thing and she suggested i check out your music :3

Parts of this song could be the combat theme of a video game, others openings to a serious scene in an anime, others still are more calm, straight forward, and intent like a chase scene in am movie. Excellent transitions make this just as awesome as the calmer music you have made.
Wow... I've really enjoyed your music. How much does it cost for ALL of your completed works on CD? I mean ALL of them, high-definition lossless stereo? Like a Complete works thus far?
I'm in the process of listening to and downloading almost all your songs, and your partnership with lilypad is solid, in every piece I've listened to where her vocals are featured. There was one, maaaaybe two, where she could have used a bit more support for the upper registers, but that's IT. Every other piece with her voice is pretty rock-solid and clean, with a nice even timbre and rounded tone.
Seriously, DOWNLOADING ALL THE THINGS. I don't know why on Earth I haven't stumbled upon your music before now. It all sounds like it should be used in movies, FF games, or other big-line productions. I don't know what you do as a IRL career, but if it's music like this, then I'm completely sold.
